We kept buying kit that played beautifully and looked like a sponsorship deal, or looked beautiful and fell apart in a season. So we specified our own — by shape and level rather than by marketing tier, in four colours chosen once and kept.

Twin-ply knitted collars
A concealed stay through the collar band, so it still stands in year three instead of waving at the net.
Vegetable-tanned trims
Full-grain bridle leather at every wear point. It darkens into a patina rather than cracking.
Carbon specified by shape
3K, 12K and 18K weaves chosen for how the frame should play — never for the marketing tier.
Solution-dyed colour
Pigment locked into the fibre, so Court Green is still Court Green after thirty hot washes.
